Scrap page using SAB rub-ons

Sale-a-bration (SAB) starts on February 1st!  For every $70 CAN you spend you receive one of 5 limited edition stamps sets OR 1 set of limited rub-ons FREE!  Next to Christmas, this is my favorite time of the year:)  This scrapbook page is done using the SAB rub-ons, Love & Happiness.  These rub-ons come in four colors, white, black, choc. chip and old olive.  I used the white ones for this project.  The page's base color is Choc. chip.  I took a photo of Mackenna from Halloween and matte it to choc. chip.  Then I punched the corners of the Berry Bliss designer paper and the corners of a piece of pomegranate c.s. with the ticket corner punch.  I punched a tag with the tag punch and attached it to main panel with 2 brads from the LSS that match pomegranate pretty closely.  I used one of the choc. chip butterflies from the rub-on kit on the tag.  I punched a pretty in pink circle with the 1 3/8" circle punch and added the sentiment, "You make me happy." from the kit.  Then I attached it to a pomegranate scalloped circle (SU scallop punch) and added dots around the scallops with a white gel pen.  This embellishment was attached using a dimensional.

I'm back...well I didn't go anywhere but my life has been so busy I haven't had anytime to stamp...GASP!  I know, I've been REALLY busy, lol!  I can't believe that it has been almost a week since I've posted anything:)  I did get time to stamp this little 6 x 6 scrapbook page using the same colors and concept as the RAK I made last week.  I demonstrated this set at a workshop last night so I thought I would add a scrapbook page too.

Bunny Hugs Easter Page

When I got these new Palette O'Print papers I immediately invisioned this page and this afternoon I got an opportunity to get it done!  I always want to scrapbook but each occasion seems to go by and I don't get it done.  I'm just waiting for my pictures to come back so I can add them.  This page measures 8 X 8 which is my new favorite size.  I find that 12 x 12 is too big and 6 x 6 is to small and I prefer to scrap a square than a rectangle (8 1/2 x 11).  The frame is sewn using Purple Making Memories thread and the words are cut out using the word window punch.

Scrappin' finally....

It has been a LONG time since I have done any scrapbooking and it felt nice to do a couple of pages!  I had such great time with Mackenna one day last month.  It was just her and I at home so we painted our nails, did our hair, put on make up and then took pictures of each other.  This 6 x 6 page celebrates how much fun you can have just doing the simple things in life!

Colors:  Certainly celery, Pretty in Pink, Taken w/Teal, Whisper white

Accessories:  white gel pen, black and soft subtle markers, vintage brads, horizontal slot punch, Flirty original ribbons (Winter 07 mini)

On the second page (12 x 12), I got to play with my new punches and designer paper from the Spring mini.  The spiral punch (used to make the cardstock look as though it was ripped from a notebook) is so easy to use and creates a really neat effect.
