Back to School

Here are my little munchkins before they headed off to school today.  Okay, actually Mackenna doesn't start until Tuesday afternoon (kindergarten starts later) but good luck telling her that, lol!  Every fall I get that "Oh my gosh, they are getting so big!" moment.  This year was no different:)  They are in grades 6, 2, and kindergarten this year.

It was a pretty nice day here today so we headed out to the Strawberry Ranch with my mother to pick a couple of baskets of strawberries.  Nathan found this very unusually shaped one.

Happy December!

Well, my cold is still keeping me from stamping...I'm too medicated to be creative, lol!  We did, however, get out yesterday to get our Christmas tree:)  It's a beauty, my house smells like pine!  Well, at least that's what everyone tells me since my nose is so stuffed!  We will be going to my oldest son's Christmas Concert today.  He is in a Children's Choir and they put on a huge performance every year and I can hardly wait:)  It really gets me in the Christmas mood!  Then, when we get home we will start decorating the house and the tree.  My cards are almost made too.  I have 30 done and I will need 55 in all.  I had a few days of panic this week when I thought that I lost my address book.  Nothing like spending hours making cards and then not being able to send them to anyone, lol!  I went over every square inch of my house and then went...duh...it was in the glove compartment of my van from when we went to Edmonton a few weeks ago.   Crisis averted! 

You know it's cold when....

My 4 year old daughter asked to go outside to play and I told her that she couldn't because it was too cold that day.  She looked at me in disgust and asked when winter was going to be over.  I told her that it had really just begun so it was going to be many months yet until spring time and then...she burst into tears!  She said, "but this is taking FOREVA!!!"  Poor thing!

I don't know how much more I can take...I have another mouse in my house!  For anyone who doesn't know, I was tormented by a little field mouse for a week at the beginning of the month.  It would scratch around my bed at night so that I couldn't sleep and evade every trap we set.  After 7 DAYS...I finally caught him.  And now there is another one...THEY FREAK ME OUT!!!!!  Seriously, I want to move.   I thought I was seeing things this morning when Nathan and I were sitting on the couch and that little bugger ran out from behind the T.V.  The same place that I caught the other one.  AGHHHHHHHHHHH......

If anyone would like a houseguest, just let me know.  I'll bring my stampin' stuff:)

Happy Halloween everyone!  I won't have time to stamp today but I thought I would throw on a couple of pictures of my kids in their costumes:)!  Mackenna is a Bratz cheerleader this year.  Tristan is Wolverine (from X-Men) and Nathan is the Unknown Phantom.

Spiderman, spiderman...

Here is my son, Tristan...this kid thinks he is Spiderman!  After the party my oldest son starts yelling, "Mom, come quick...you have to see Tristan!"  He was climbing the walls, lol!  He actually got a lot higher than that but I was too busy laughing to take a picture!  What a guy!
