...posting but here are the treat purses that I made for Tristan and Mackenna's classes. I made them in 4 colors (pretty in pink, bashful blue, barely banana and certainly celery). The bunny and saying is from High Hopes. I colored them with SU stampin' write markers. Inside (sorry, I forgot to take a picture) I filled SU cello bags with easter gummy bunnies. The ribbon is SU grosgrain.
My daughter, Mackenna, had her first ballet performance this week. She performed in front of a couple of thousand people and I was SO nervous for her but it was no big deal to her. The only thing that bothered her was that she couldn't find us and "her boys" (aka brothers)! It was a very entertaining program with children from ages 4 -18 yrs. The younger ones were SO cute to watch and the older ones were unbelievably talented.
This is my favorite picture of her with my husband. He gave her a rose when she was done dancing and she was just astounded that he would have bought her one. It was so adorable:)
Oh no...I need 41 treat bags by tomorrow! I have procrastinated on my kids treat bags for their classmates and now I have to get my butt in gear and get them done, lol! I just designed these last night. I used the Easter set, A Good Egg. I was undecided as far as which colors to go with so I decided to do four different colors. The chick was paper pieced using the Spring Fling designer series paper. I added a little Cotton Candy Stickles on the beak. They are attached to the candy bags with a glue dot.
Stamp sets: A Good Egg, Bunny Hugs (retired)
Cardstock: Sage Shadow, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Spring Fling designer series paper
Inks: black, saffron, sage, p in pink, celery
Accessories: SU scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch, white gel pen, staples, small cello bags
