Well, I am trying to be productive and combine 2 challenges in one:) First, Jen has a Sketch challenge that looked really fun...I had to try it out! Second, color challenge #133 on SCS was to use more mustard, old olive and bashful blue. I also added a little black and choc. chip.
The main image is from Artful Inkables. I watercolored it with reinkers and an aquapainter. To make the rock shimmer a little, I added diamond Stickles. Then I matted it to choc. chip and bashful blue. I used the scalloped square punch underneath. The squares are a lot smaller than the image so I punched out four of them and pieced them together to make a rectangle. The mustard piece has the corners punched with the ticket corner punch and then was rolled with SU's Rough Texture wheel. The old olive strip beside it also had the corners punched and was torn down the side. Then I stamped it with the plant stamp from Artful Inkables in old olive. Then everything was matted to black and then to the olive base. Using SU's 2 oval punched I punched out a white piece for the sentiment and matted it to a black piece. Then I trimmed off one edge to line up with the edge of the card. Finally, I tied a bow with a piece of more mustard grosgrain ribbon and attached it with a glue dot.
Stamps: Artful Inkables, Autumn Leaf Prints, Rough texture jumbo wheel
